SO OILY. It felt like everything was dipped in a vat of grease and salt. The soup tasted like vinegar and nothing else. The noodles and rice were both alarmingly greasy. To the point where we were wondering if they’d ever changed the grease in the wok. Never eat here. It is a health hazard — you’re better off going to Manchu Wok than this place.

The service was great and our server was not only polite but helpful when we were undecided on what to get. The crispy beef is one of my favorite dishes that I've had all year and the chili chicken has such a nice tenderness and flavour to it. Overall I was very satisfied with the quantity and quality and the price was very fair for the amount of food we got.

Based on my experience this isn’t Hakka. It’s just some spicy chinese options. Popular based on quick service. Cheap and cheerful.

the food was fine and the service was fine. Given the pandemic situation our group was the only one in the entire restaurant. I wouldn't go back, but that's simply because they are not accessible and there are a lot of steep stairs to go up. If it weren't for that I'd be happy to eat there again.

Good Chili chicken - big chunks of chicken nuggets, tasty. Crispy beef is sweet and savory, combined with onions and celery. Tasty and crunchy green beans, spicy and flavorful. Portions are good, service are friendly and efficient.

Great place for Chinese food, though on the oilier side. The chilli chicken is amazing. The staff is super helpful and friendly and cheerful. Portion sizes are also huge- one plate decently serves two.

Rides a little high on the hype train but still with a visit if you've never had hakka food. The chili chicken dry is great, but make sure you order some kind of green vegetable with your meal because everything is beige otherwise. Better with a large group so you can try lots of things family style

My new favorite for take out food. I've come here for both Office Parties and late night eats and I've never once been dissatisfied with the quality of food, efficiency and service. The Chili Chicken has to be the best in the city, it just has to be. The friend rice is also very good and having them together is the best combo. Seating and dining area is immaculate and great for large events. This restaurant is a MUST visit.

Best Hakka Chinese location in the core Downtown area. It’s a family run joint and been around for very long. My 2 go-to dishes are Chilli Chicken Dry and Chilli Chicken Chowmein (gravy with crispy or soft noodles, as preferred). The Manchuria Chicken is excellent as well. There are many tables and booths so there’s always room, even on the busiest of days.

Been going to this place since 2007, they always amaze me with the food. If you are vegetarian, you must try the spicy pepper mushroom. Dry or with gravey. It is super good.

Cozy spot as always. Delicious as back when I remember going as a kid. Can’t go wrong having some delicious food here.

Had my Birthday dinner here. Probably the best chilli chicken I ever had. Also had the crispy ginger beef, braised pork belly...Get in my belly! Will be eating here again very soon!

Any restuarant with so much business still charges you extra to use your credit card deserves 0 star. Their prices have risen 30% in last year or so but charging extra for credit is the cheapness which reflect in food as well. Food quality was pathetic, chicken was very chewy and lots of pieces were like that and unable to swallow. I would not return this place as only quantity was decent, quality reflects the cheapness they reflect in charging extra for credit card.

Friendly staff, helpful and good with first-timers. I had the chicken hotpot on rice, which was quite good. It has lots of large, round tables for larger groups, and some smaller ones for smaller groups. From the looks of it, it has two different seatings for lunch. Nice, open design, too.

Been going here for years. Quick, cheap (good lunch specials) and all round great stop for a quick sit down table service lunch. Always friendly.

Been here with my colleagues couple of times, never disappointed. Servers are amazing. Place is always clean. Definitely recommend for Hakka Chinese food.

Great Hakka cuisine, Stuffed To Fu, Chili Chicken, Braised Pork Belly!

One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Whenever I have guests coming through the bus terminal, we stop here for dinner before heading home. Very fast service, and delicious food. Always enough to take home leftovers.

Large servings and good value for the price, but don't expect anything fancy. Standard fare. Try the spicy chilli chicken I think it's called. Really good

Super attentive and nice staff. The food was nice and came at a good pace. The decor was nice and kept traditional. The location is also nearby the city centre. Nice place overall.
